WHO ARE WE?
OUR STORY
Apple Imprints comes from humble beginnings with a strong sense of family and community. Owners of Apple Imprints, Kevin and Jack Lipomi, come from a family of screen printers and advertisement decorators. Their father, Pasquale “Pat” Lipomi, founded Buffalo Sign Co. in the late 1940s and then later purchased Buffalo Ad Art in 1965. After selling the company and living for a short stint in Clearwater, FL, he thought the best thing to do was to bring business back to Buffalo.
After founding a new business in 1980 under the name of KJL (Kevin Jack Lipomi) Printing, he had the aspirations that his two sons would work with him in the family business. The two brothers did not come into the business until 1981 when their father passed away. Upon going through the shop, Jack and Kevin found business cards reading “Pat Lipomi and Sons”, their father had passed the torch and a new era of printing was born.
Working late into the night and sometimes 7 days a week, Kevin and Jack Lipomi developed a powerhouse system. Starting in a one-room office, they leased printing equipment and enlisted the help of friends and family to complete the orders they received. Before long, they made a name for themselves and by the mid 1980s, they had a larger space and changed their business name to Apple Imprints.
Moving to modern day, Kevin and Jack Lipomi are the current owners of Apple Imprints after 40 years of being in the business. With our expansion of the company, we now no longer use light boxes and film with manual presses, but harbor a vast array of various machines to keep up with the cutting-edge screen printing technology. We still hold the same ideologies that were showcased in the early years, delivering a fantastic product and service and developing healthy and confident relations with our customers.
